Chief Leeb, FDNY (ret.)
We are excited to announce the 2024 Keynote for the Wichita HOT, Chief Leeb, FDNY. Chief Frank Leeb has a new book out, “Cornerstones of Leadership: On and Off the Fireground: Training – Teamwork – Mentorship” and is a deputy assistant chief in FDNY. He is the acting chief of training. He has served in several senior staff positions, including the chief of training, the chief of the fire academy and chief of safety. Leeb has been a member of FDNY since 1992 and a member of the East Farmingdale, NY, Fire Department since 1983.
Chief Leeb will be presenting his Keynote “Fire service Cornerstones of Success: Training and Teamwork and Why it Matters on Game Day”
During this lecture, Chief Leeb will discuss the importance of training and teamwork and share insights and lessons learned on incidents where training and teamwork were essential for successful outcomes. With dedication to predicting, preventing, and preparing for the possible, Chief Leeb emphasizes how passion for the job paired with continual improvement in skills and knowledge are the keys to a winning mindset on the fireground.
